Working with Records

Guide on adding, editing, and managing records in Encamp.

Records are a vital part of any facility’s environmental compliance program. In Encamp, you have the ability to add, edit, download and manage records efficiently. This guide provides a step-by-step process for each operation.

Adding, Editing, and Deleting Records

Adding a Record

Step 1: From the Records page, click the Add new button.

Step 2: Drag and drop the file into the designated area, or click to browse and select the file from your computer.

Step 3: Fill in all relevant details. At a minimum, the Facility and Tags are required.

Step 4: Click Upload. The Record should now be visible.

See the Record Fields section below for information on the meaning of each field.

Editing a Record

Step 1: To edit a record, click the corresponding row on the Records page.

Step 2: Click Edit and edit any relevant details you would like. Note: You can only edit the details about a record - you can’t edit the file itself. To change a file, you will need to upload a new one.

Step 3: Click Save.

Deleting a Record

Currently, Encamp does not offer a self-serve option for deleting records.

If you need to delete one or more records, please contact your Customer Success Manager or send an email to support@encamp.com. The Encamp team will be happy to assist you.

Downloading a Record

Single Record

To download a single record, click the corresponding row on the Records page, and then click Download. With most file types, a preview of the file will be available prior to downloading.

Bulk Downloading

There is currently not a self-serve way for customers to bulk download records out of the Encamp platform.

If you would like to bulk download records, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or to support@encamp.com and we will be glad to assist you.
